We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Intern who will work side-by-side with our growing technology team. You will be responsible for assisting with testing efforts for various platforms utilizing mainly manual testing processes with a goal to implement more automated testing. You will be an active team member participating in each step of the Agile Scrum process. Our environment is fast paced, dynamic, proactive and full of career growth.

What you will do:

  • You will help evaluate, identify and define issues in the form of bugs & user stories.
  • Help define test methods, strategies, and plans that ensure the software will perform accurately and reliably according to the documented requirements.
  • Work closely with the product owner and developers to understand requirements, design, and implement in house testing tools.
  • Responsible for exploratory testing to find defects and increase automated testing coverage.
  • Learn how to automate regression tests, smoke tests, functional tests as needed.
  • Assist in post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.

What you will need:

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of functional, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • An interest in using automated testing tools in addition to manual testing and writing test scripts.
  • You need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
  • You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment.
  • You have the ability to take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.
  • Willingness to learn Laravel Dusk.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or others.
  • Manual and automated testing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PHP, Vue, React, JavaScript, HTML% and CSS3.
